Here’s the news that’s too short to report:

  • Sprint increased it early termination fee to match the other major carriers $350 in anticipation of launching its iPhone.  Verizon increased its ETF and reduced the amount of return days to 14 before its iPhone release.
  • Sony Ericsson showed the Xperia arc S at IFA  with a 1.4GHz processor, Music/Video Unlimited, 8MP camera, 4.2” Bravia touchscreen and Android 2.3.
  • An iPhone prototype was lost at Cava22, restaurant  in San Francisco and Apple has not been able to find it. The phone was reportedly sold on Craigslist for $200
  • The Department of Justice is suing to block the AT&T acquisition of T-Mobile, arguing that it it violate anti-trust laws.
