AT&T
announced that the Huawei Impulse 4G will go on sale on September 18 for $29.99 with a contract. It's affordable Android on the cheap. Many were hoping that the Huawei Impulse 4G would have LTE data access, instead it offers improved HSPA+ speeds at a max of 14.4Mbps.
Features of the Huawei Impulse 4G include 3.8" touchscreen, Android 2.2, 5MP camera, 800MHz processor, Wi-Fi, mobile, hotspots, Bluetooth, GPS, 1500mAh battery and Dolby Mobile sound enhancement.
The Huawei Impulse 4G is essentially a Ideos X5 in an AT&T package.
