HTC announced a new version of the HTC Sensation, the HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio ehnancement, faster 1.5GHz dual-core processor and extended-life battery.
Also inlcuded in the package is the exclusive Beats by Dr. Dre in-ear headphones with remote control, allowing you to pause, play or skip through tracks and answer/end calls while the phone is in your pocket.
The HTC Sensation XE is the first smartphone with Beats Audio a software and hardware audio enhancement and when connected to Beats by Dr. Dre in-ear headphones, it automatically switches to the bespoke Beats by Dr. Dre sound profile, delivering audio tuned for the headphones.
The HTC Sensation XE will be available in Europe and Asia in late September. It's not clear when and if it will launched in the United States.
Features of the HTC Sensation XE include HTC Sense 3.0, 4.3"touchscreen, 4GB storage onboard, 8MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 1730mAh battery and GPS.
The original HTC Sensation comes with a 1520mAh battery, the extra 200mAh will probably offer a few more hours of battery life, depending on use.

Beats by Dr. Dre headphones are very expensive, earphones cost about $150, and the Monster version cost aroud $400. There have been fights over them in which college students were shot and injured.
