It comes with a dock, light-up tethering dongle and headphones.
The HTC Rhyme strutted down the runway at a press event in New York City, this morning, where it was touted as "tailored craftsmanship," good taste and a better upgrade than the iPhone.
The specs of the HTC Rhyme are mid-level but cases while accessories are high-fashion. The HTC Rhyme has Android 2.3, 1GHz processor, 3.7"touchscreen, 5MP camera, VGA front-facing camera, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It is slim, light and sharp.
Like Barbie, the HTC Rhyme excels at fashion accessories including a desktop dock with speakers, no-tangle wired headset, and LED charm. Optional accessories are a color-coordinated Bluetooth headset, Bluetooth car speaker and armband.
The charm hangs outside a handbag and lights up when calls are received. The tethered cord helps owner find the HTC Rhyme in a purse.
HTC Sense has been upated with screen widgets to show the latest messages. The camera app works better in low-light places. Of course the wall paper and background images are prettier. There the HTC Family app for group family messages.
The HTC Rhyme comes in plum, sea foam green and metallic. It was formerly called the HTC Bliss. Verizon is currently running a promotion where new customers who trade in any kind of phone can get at least a $100 gift(more if the trade-in value is higher) with the online exclusive trade-in deal when they buy a smartphone.
