Without confirming a release date, Sprint acknowledged that it is ready to sell the iPhone without acknowledging if it will sell the iPhone in a webcast. CFO Joe Euteneuer revealed some important Sprint iPhone news while iPhone 5 rumors continue to flood the blogosphere.
FierceWireless reported he company's team has been "relentless on watching the existing network to make sure that we are spending the capital we need and to make sure we don't create a bad user experience--irrespective of all the rumors," said Euteneuer who also confirmed that, "The benefits of having such an iconic device are really huge."
Many future iPhone owners are hoping that they can nab an unlimited data plan from Sprint. iPhone owners typically use more data than any other smartphone.
Chief Executive Dan Hesse previously warned that the unlimited data plans couldn't last forever. Meanwhile, rumors abound suggesting the Spring will also carry the next iPad and iPhone 5.
A screen protector for the iPhone 5 suggested to some that Apple may change the size of the iPhone 5 to have a 4" touchscreen and bigger battery. Some think the iPhone will keep with the present iPhone design with minor updates.
Latest iPhone rumors suggest an Octobber release date.
