Samsung Galaxy S II Goes on Sale from AT&T Today, Discounted to $149.99

Samsugn Galaxy S II AMazonAT&T starts selling Samsung Galaxy S II, today and Amazon Wireless has already discounted the price to $149.99 for new and renewing customers.  As of this morning, the Samsung Galaxy S II was in stock and ships within 24 hours.  Amazon Wireless generally runs out of stock on new releases quickly.

The Samsung Galaxy S II has a 4.3" Super AMOLED touchscreen,  1.2GHz dual-core processor which is currently the fastest on the AT&T network.  Other features include HDMI out,  8MP camera, front-facing camera, 16GB storage onboard, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 1650mAh batter and microSD slot.

First-look reviews of the Samsung Galaxy S II were excellent but reticent.  We should be having a new review soon. Samsung's Media Hub enables you to rent or purchase movies and TV shows.

The price of $199 makes it a C-note more costly than the LG Thrill 4G that has 1GHz dual-core processor and  3D 4.3" touchscreen.  The Samsung Galaxy S II has a faster processor than the Droid Bionic and better benchmark scores.

 The Samsung Galaxy S II costs $199.99 from AT&T with a contract and requires at least a $15 a month data plan. AT&T Early Termination Fee is $325 minus $10 for each full month of service
