The fall line of super smartphones expanded with the announcement of the first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-powered "pure Google" smartphone the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which is sort of larger Samsung Galaxy S II with multiple radios for different carriers all over the world. This is the smartphone that was formerly leaked as the Nexus Prime aka Droid Prime. It is expected to launched by Verizon Wireless in November around November 10.
The Super AMOLED touchscreen size has grown to 4.65" and the processor is a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP4460 processor. Other features of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus are a 5MP camera, 1.2MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 1750 mAh Battery. For data the Samsung Galaxy Nexus can connect to either 4G LTE or HSPA+.
Because Ice Cream Sandwich is "pure Google",the news release states, "you will be the first to receive software upgrades and new applications as they become available. "
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is 1.84mm thicker than the 7.1mm Droid RAZR at 8.94mm thick, with a minimal 4.29mm bezel.

Google has setup a webpage for notification of availability. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be out sometime in November. No carriers or prices have been announced, yet.

I've been reading up on the this phone and Ice Cream Sandwich but after watching this video, I'm set on getting it.
