Black Friday-Weekend Cyber Monday Deal for BlackBerry Trade-up for Bold or Torch

BlackBerry Trade-upAfter four years of dealing with the holidays at Wireless and Mobile News, we know you want to know the Black Friday-Weekend Deals in advance.  Here's something to file in your discount book for your business pals and CrackBerry addicts like President Obama.  When you buy a new BlackBerry and already have BlackBerry, RIM is giving BlackBerry owners up to  $100 Visa card for a used working condition BlackBerry.

The major features that will be offered in a trade-up  is a touchscreen along with the famous superb BlackBerry keyboard on new models such as the BlackBerry Bold Touch (9900) or Torch 9850.  An older model BlackBerry Storm from two years ago will only bring in twenty dollars, but  you can be satisfied that your beloved BlackBerry will find a good home. A newer model BlackBerry Bold 9700 will get you $100.

It's important to recycle or trade-in your technology as soon as possible if you are not going to use it, because the longer you wait the less the less it is worth and less likely it will be used.  Cell phones contain toxic chemicals and rare earth minerals that are not good for the environment.

The new features of BlackBerry include BlackBerry Balance to separate business from personal data and the new BlackBerry OS 7 that is faster with better web browser.  Other new features include HD video recording, more fluid and responsive graphics, digital compass, and augmented reality.

The video below shows why your BlackBerry addict would like the BlackBerry Bold 9900 over the BlackBerry Bold 9700 ($100 trade-in).

  1. Glad to see that Blackberry is really upping some of the technology on their phones. The latest touch screen and larger size screen will help it stay competitive with the IPhone. Collecting used Blackberries helps the the consumer recoup some money from previous purchases, and I am sure the old phones will go to good use to people who really need it. I just hope blackberry is not trying to make a profit on the used phones...
