iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone, Computer & Tablet Top Kids' Holiday Lists

Oh Santa please, please, please can I have an iPad this Christmas?  If not how about an iPod Touch, iPhone computer or tablet?  Kids 6-12 will be asking Santa Claus according to Nielsen.  

Their desires mirror adults who also want tablets this year according to Retrevo but don't show as much fire as adults have desires for the Kindle Fire according to ChangeWave.

Forget about toys or puppies, electronics are what kids and teens want this holiday season.

The  iPad is the most desired consumer electronic device among kids ages 6-12 for holiday 2011 with nearly half (44%) of kids expressing interest in it.

 Two other popular Apple devices – iPod Touch (30%) and iPhone (27%) – round out kids’ top three, with computers and other tablet brands each appealing to a quarter of younger consumers.

Teenagers 13+ want an iPad(24%) computer (18%), eReader(18%), TV, tablet (17%), Blue-Ray player, iPhone (15%) or smartphone (14%).
