Here we go around the release date revolving door for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, again. A new leaked screenshot shows a November 17 release date for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus at Verizon Wireless. A commercial for it has also surfaced.
A previous leaked screenshot from another source showed a release date after Black Friday weekend or was it just when Samsung promotions would start? The European version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was announced to be November 17 and what about the U.S. release?
When we read the description of where the screenshot came from it says "it is a work in progress." Could it be perhaps from the marketing or design department?
Android Central called the date "dubious" although it makes sense. The photo came from an anonymous source that appeared in forums.
Meanwhile the Samsung Galaxy Nexus commercial has show up at Amazon U.K.
The announcers says " Calling all gadget geeks, all visionaries, all givers and takers, all givers and takers, all meeters and greeters. The possibilities are calling."
Samsung Galaxy Nexus features shown are:
- Face unlock.
- panorama mode.
- Android Beam.
- Google + hangouts.
