Amazon Kindle Fire to Fire Up Best Digital Content Sales

Best of 2011 AmazonChristmas day is one of the biggest days for consuming calories and digital content.  To help people who have received the "most gifted" Amazon device the Kindle Fire as well as Kindle tablets and MP3 players, Amazon has created their list of best digital content for downloading.

As fires and family ties are re-kindled, Kindle Fires can be ignited with new content, games, magazines, books and music.

Amazon's "Best of Digital" store, features recommendations from Amazon's team of editors on must-have movies & TV shows, music, video games, software, mobile apps, magazines and Kindle books, along with hundreds of deals on digital content.

Last year, from Christmas Eve through December 30, Amazon customers purchased over three times more digital content as compared to the weekly average for the year.

The "Best of Digital" store follows one of the hottest selling tablets of the year - the Kindle Fire which has just been updated to 6.2.1.  The number of  Kindle Fire tablets sold is phenomenal. Because it is priced for $199  less than it costs to make it, the Kindle Fire acts as a portable cash register for Amazon.com sales and of course the cash register will be ringing buying content on Christmas day.
