Samsung is the top maker of smartphones according the "Wireless and Mobile News' Top Best Coolest Hottest Smartphones Review of Reviews for 2011" and is expected to continue innovation, next year. Samsung reportedly will continue expand it Samsung Galaxy S line with the Samsung Galaxy S III.
Last year, the Samsung Galaxy S II was revealed at Mobile World Congress(MWC) in Febraury in Spain. An unconfirmed South Korean report pointed to a similar reveal by Samsung in 2012 at MWC with the debut of the Samsung Galaxy S III.
The expected specs for the new Samsung Galaxy S III include:
- New quad-core processor, Exynos 4412.
- 4.6" 1280x720 Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen.
- 2GB of RAM.
- 12MP camera.
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Samsung is the top maker of winners of the top smarpthones of the year. Popular models include the Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Galaxy Nexus. By October Samsung sold more than 30 million Samsung Galaxy S II smartphones.
A Korean newspaper reported that Samsung aims to sell 150 million smartphones next year and a total of 374 handsets.
