T-Mobile and LG are sending out an update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread for the G2x. You can receive the update over-the-air via the web via a USB connection to your computer and LG software.
The G2x Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update enhancements include:

- Improved front-facing camera operation when using Qik record and share.
- Improved disabling of Car Home.
- Helps address unexpected reboots.
Before updating make sure that you fully charge the battery, remove the microSD card and backup your data.
