Full news stories include the latest Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus leaks, the Asus Transformer Prime, Carrier IQ snoopping sofware installed on AT&T & Sprint devices, an exploding Skyrocket and an update for the Samsung Fascinate.

Here's the news that is too short to report:

  • The first LTE devices coming from U.S. Cellular will be a smartphone and tablet.
  • Verizon confirmed that CEO Lowell McAdam will take Ivan Seidenberg's place as Chairman on December 31. 2012.  At least Verizon gets the release dates right for its retirees.
  • Mobile Posse reports that nearly 60% of consumers listen to music on the go: at home, in the office, on their commute, and at the gym. When it comes to online music services, 35% of consumers choose Pandora as the clear favorite, followed by Rhapsody, Last.fm, Spotify and Slacker.
  • According to iGoDigiital  9.73 percent of consumers used a mobile device to make a purchase or visit retailers’ sites during the first hours of Black Friday shopping (4 am EST – 12 pm EST).
Finally the Southland including Pasadena, California has been hit by winds.  This is what our editor saw this morning.

While a 3o' high tree couldn't withstand the 70 mph winds a White Paper Narcissus held up fine and smiled for the camera. We are grateful for the flowers that survive.
