my new job requires that i attend a lot of different meetings and meet a lot of different deadlines, which often change several times. In addition to my very busy personal life with family commitments, appointments and the new event planning business that my mother and I are launching, the old paper day planner is definitely not cutting it any longer.

I need a device that has all the basic functions of notes, scheduler, calendar and the necessities, I need the ability to create and edit excel spreadsheets and word documents. I am however, not interested in a blackberry or similar device that doubles as a phone.

I am new to the whole "palm" scene so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    thanx
