At CES, we learned the what of the Droid 4, now we are wondering the who, how and when. The who will be answered by the reviewers who will provide the information on who should buy the Droid 4. The how will be decided by Verizon and users on how they will use the Droid 4 . The when will be the release date which could be soon because the price of Droid 3 has dropped to $99.99 from Verizon Wireless.
Here are some great hows for you to get ready if you are the "who" who will buy a Droid 4. Although Verizon has not announced a price, yet, the price is expected to around $249.99.
How to Reboot without Removing Battery (You can't remove it).
We combed through the Droid 4 user to manual to discover that like the well-reviewed Droid RAZR (named the top smartphone on the Verizon Wireless network and the number two smartphone in 2011), the Droid 4 does not have a removable battery. Therefore if you are battery juice junky, you won't be able to add a greater capacity battery.
Removing the battery is a great way to reset a smartphone, if you can't remove the battery, to do a forced reboot—press and hold both Power and the down volume key for up to 10 seconds.
How to Sync BlackBerrry Windows or Mac Stuff
You can transfer data from a BlackBerry, Windows or a Mac computer with the Mark/Space app for free. This service is by the "Missing Sync" company and makes it easy to transfer personal information contacts and email addresses, meetings/events, task lists notes, memos media, photos, albums, songs, playlists, iTunes media, Videos (MP4, Mov, AVI) and bookmarks.
How to Use Webtop App
To open the Webtop app, connect your Droid 4 to an HDTV or monitor using a dock accessory (sold separately). You can browse, or use web apps, on a large screen in a full Firefox browser. Create and share documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with online tools like Google Docs. When you find an interesting webpage in the Webtop application, you can send it to your smartphone to view after undocking. In the Firefox browser, select File > Send to phone. If prompted to complete the action, select Browser. The webpage opens in your smartphone browser.
Stream Media from Home or Work

If necessary, you can use your email account on a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync 2007 server to clear the personal data from your Droid 4 and memory card. You need to be assigned permissions before you can remotely wipe data from your Droid 4 and memory card. Contact your IT system administrator for the information and permissions you need to perform the remote wipe procedure.

What good is any cellular if one cannot replace the battery with one with more juice that enables longer use?
I don't get it!
I agree, Gene! I was going to wait to get a smart phone until this one came out, but, I've had issues with every battery in every cell phone I've ever owned going dead quickly after I've owned it a while. This is disappointing. I love the slide out keyboard, but, not sure it's outweighs being able to replace the battery. sigh...
You don't need another battery, trust me. I owned the original Droid for over 2 years and never swapped it out. Motorola makes solid phones and it'll last you til the 2 year contract is up.
I still have the original Droid and am on my third battery (all Motorola OEM batteries). The lack of a replaceable battery will probably keep me away from the Droid 4.
