AT CES, two new Droid RAZR models are introduced the Droid RAZR in purple and DROID RAZR MAXX. The DROID RAZR MAXX is the first Verizon smartphone to come with an extended life battery and should help with the 4G LTE battery drain experienced with other LTE smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
The original DROID RAZR received great reviews, was number two in the top best smartphones of 2011 and number one rated on the Verizon Wireless network. This maxed version adds a lot more battery juice.
The DROID RAZR MAXX 's battery allows for phone calls for over 21 hours straight on a single charge. Motorola claims that the on a single charge, DROID RAZR MAXX by Motorola lasts more than twice as long as the leading competitor with a 3300mAh battery. The super-sized battery still allows for thinness because the DROID RAZR MAXX. is only 8.99mm thin.
Features of the DROID RAZR MAXX include a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display and with Dupont KEVLAR fiber, a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass display and a force field of water-repellent nanoparticles. Specs include Android 2.3, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 8MP camera, 1.2MP front-facing camera, GPS, Motocast and Smart Actions.
