Yesterday, we pulled the specs for the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus from Sprint from Sprint's own webpage. Today, we received an email from a Sprint rep to let us know that it will have 32GB internal storage.
Storage is important on the well-reviewed Samsung Galaxy Nexus because there is no microSD card slot available on it. The other specs remain the same.
4G LTE is coming to Sprint customers in Dallas, Atlanta, Houston and San Antonio. Sprint has included Google Wallet for NFC payments on its version of Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
Features of the Galaxy Nexus LTE include a 4.65" Super AMOLED touchscreen, 16GB internal storage, front-facing camera, 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth , dual-core processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) and 4G LTE access in LTE markets.
Ice Cream Sandwich features Face Unlock, which uses facial recognition to unlock your phone. Using NFC (Near Field Communications) technology, Android Beam allows users to quickly share web pages, apps and YouTube videos with friends by tapping phones together. Google+ Hangouts allow video chat with up to 10 friends.
Approximately 15 4G LTE devices are currently on track to be launched in 2012 including handsets, tablets and data cards.
The Sprint top best smartphones 2011 included mostly WiMAX models.
