Attention note-takers, there was a notable tablet-phone announced at CES during the AT&T Developer Summit, the Samsung Galaxy Note with writing recognition for the S-Pen. This superphone was noted as one of the reasons for Samsung's success.
The Samsung Galaxy Note will connect to the new AT&T 4G LTE network, runs a 1.5GHz dual-core processor come sin blue or white. The Samsung Galaxy Note has a 5.3” Super AMOLED touchscreen with 180 degree viewing angle.
Features include, Android 2.3, Gingerbread, 16GB onboard memory, microSD card slot, 2500 mAh battery, 8MP camera, 2MP front facing camera, Mobile HotSpot capable, built-in pen holder and Samsung Approved for Enterprise security.
The Samsung Galaxy Note has the S Memo app to capture all forms of user-created content captured by the S Pen. Pictures, voice recordings, typed text, handwritten notes or drawings can all be converted to a ‘memo’ and shared.
A release date and price have not been announced, yet.
An easy screen-capture function also allows users to instantly save any screen, then these screens can also be personalized with the S Pen before being saved or shared.
Docking solutions include a Desktop Dock or Spare Battery Charging System. There is a protective Flip Cover Case and S Pen Holder Kit with a spare S Pen included.
The Galaxy Note is also compatible with the following universal accessories: Micro USB Adapter, HDTV Smart Adapter, Car Power Charger W/ Detachable Data Cable (Micro USB), Micro USB Data Cable, Travel Charger (Detachable W/ USB to Micro USB Cable), and the premium Refined Sound wired headset.
