The HTC Endeavor wich was previously thought would be named the HTC Edge or HTC Supreme will offer Siri competition according to leaked software. She is scheduled to announce herself at Mobile World Congress.
Leaked software showed The HTC Endeavor to have Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and 4.0 HTC Sense UI. It could be the first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone from HTC.
The new HTC voice engine is called HTC Speak which some think will be like Siri. There is also a movie editor.
Other features include a quad-core Tegra 3 processor as well as a 4.7" Touchscreen, 8MP camera, front camera, NFC and Bluetooth.
How will the HTC Endeavor appear to have an edge to be supreme? Reports suggest that HTC Endeavor will look a lot like the HTC Incredible and previous HTC smartphones such as the HTC EVO 3D and HTC Sensation 4G.
HTC promised updates to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich this year for some of its most recent smarpthones.
HTC confirmed via its Facebook page updates for some its top smartphones to Android 4.0 in 2012.
HTC confirmed that HTC Vivid, is upgradeable to Ice Cream Sandwich. Ice Cream Sandwich is coming in early 2012 to the HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XL and HTC Sensation XE, as well as the HTC Rezound, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G and HTC Amaze 4G through carrier partners.
HTC is continuing the evaluation process to determine what other devices will be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
