Kindle Fire Prime for Viacom TV Shows Free 1st MonthAmazon and Viacom have partnered for streaming  Prime video TV shows from MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, TV Land, Spike, VH1, BET, CMT and Logo.

Out of the box, Kindle Fire users can view millions of Amazon Prime  unlimited, commercial-free, instant streaming of movies and TV shows with Prime Instant Video.  The Prime service  is free for a month when you buy the Amazon Kindle Fire.

Prime members will have access to thousands of episodes from Viacom through Prime Instant Video over the next several months. Titles will include kids’ favorites, stand-up comedy, and reality TV.

Amazon will offer MTV shows including The Hills, Jersey Shore, The Hard Times of RJ Berger, several seasons of The Real World, and Comedy Central shows such as Chappelle's Show and The Sarah Silverman Program. For kids, Amazon brings Nickelodeon episodes of iCarly, Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, Yo Gabba Gabba, along with TV Land favorite, Hot in Cleveland.

Prime Instant Video is a benefit for paid Amazon Prime members. Prime members get unlimited, commercial-free, instant access to more than 15,000 movies and TV shows.

Amazon Prime is an annual membership program for $79 a year that offers customers unlimited Free Two-Day Shipping on millions of items and free access to media.

A recent survey by ChangeWave Research showed increased popularity of Amazon and the Amazon Kindle Fire amounting to a whole lot of revenue, satisfaction and profits.

The Kindle Fire was hottest selling and most-wished-for item on Amazon and named the most-gifted-promoted tablet by Wireless and Mobile News. Kindle Fire sales are predicted to beat all other tablets in 2012.

Toss Sandler at RBC Capital surveyed Kindle Fire owners.  He analysed profit areas for Amazon and found that people who bought the Fire primarily use it for reading ebooks, then browsing and gaming.

The Kindle Fire received an update that helped fix some problems.

The best features of the Kindle Fire  are the dual-core processor, free Amazon Cloud storage, cloud accelerated mobile browser and of course the $199 price.  Previously reviewed shortcomings of the Kindle Fire include it uses Android 2.3(not a tablet OS) and lacks Bluetooth, cellular data, a camera and GPS.  The  Kindle Fire touchscreen is only 7 inches..

Are there any plans to offer this to a Canadian audience? If a Kindle Fire was shipped to Canada then would they have access to free mobile tv as well?
