4G LTE Contest Win Droid RAZR MAXX, iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket or HTC Amaze 4GRootMetrics is helping to fuel the 4G LTE wars with a "4G Mobile Madness" sweepstakes on Twitter, to test 4G LTE data service and win new smartphones or money towards breaking your contract.

Getting the new smartphone such as a Droid RAZR MAXX, Samsung Galaxy S II(Skyrocket or Epic Touch) or iPhone 4S seems to be the better deal because RootMetrics will only pay up to a $200 to break a contract.

To enter, you must follow@RootMetrics on Twitter, download the RootMetrics Cell Phone Coverage Map app for iPhone or Android devices, run a test of mobile coverage and then post on Twitter EITHER a screenshot of the test results or the color and speed result.

The sweepstakes started of the 2012 NCAA Tournament on , March 13, 2012 and runs through the end of the tournament on Monday, April 2, 2012.

Then, on Monday, April 9, 2012, RootMetrics will randomly select five (5) winners to either choose a brand new smartphone or have RootMetrics pay the penalty fee of breaking their current wireless contract to sign up with a different carrier. Winners will be announced to the public on Monday, April 16, 2012.

To enter via the mail in method, during the Promotion Period, send a stamped 3x5 postcard with your full name, address, telephone number and e-mail address to Sponsor at 2606 116th Avenue NE, Suite 100, Bellevue, WA 98004 Attn: RootMetrics 4G Mobile Madness Sweepstakes. Mail in entries must be postmarked by the last day of the Promotion Period and received no later than seven (7) days after the end of the Promotion Period.

Limit one (1) entry per person per day regardless of method of entry.

Winners will be announced on Tuesday, April 16. The winners will receive their choice of EITHER (a) one of the following mobile devices offered by their carrier:

  • AT&T- 16GB Apple iPhone 4S (approximate retail value ("ARV"): $200) or Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket 4G (ARV: $200 )
  • Sprint- 16GB Apple iPhone 4S (ARV: $200 ) or Samsung Galaxy SII Epic Touch 4G (ARV: $200 )
  • T-Mobile- HTC Amaze 4G (ARV: $229 )
  • Verizon- 16GB Apple iPhone 4S (ARV: $200 ) or DROID RAZR MAXX 4G (ARV: $299);
  • OR (b) winner's cost of breaking his/her current mobile carrier contract, up to $200.
