Archos is updating ist G9 tablet series to Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich.The Archos range of G9 tablets, including the Archos 80 G9 Classic and Turbo models (flash and HDD storage) and the Archos 101 G9 Classic and Turbo models (flash and HDD storage).
There must be something about tablet makers that begin with the letter "A" because the Asus Transformer Prime was the first tablet with Android 4.0 ICS.
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich adds some features such as Android Beam, Face Unlock, a new UI and improved camera (see all features and video). It combines Android 3.2 Honeycomb features and updates other features.
The over-the-air (OTA) upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich started rolling out to G9 owner’s worldwide, yesterday.
