When the HTC One X was announced it was an AT&T exclusive. A smartphone a lot like it reportedly will be coming to Sprint as the HTC Jet or HTC Jewel or HTC Endeavor or ...
Her's where things get confusing again, HTC already makes the HTC Jetstream for AT&T which is a tablet. Why would the call a phone the Jet?
Some contend that this smartphone was also leaked as the HTC Jewel or maybe the HTC Endeavor. HTC recently announced that is going to streamline its naming structure, therefore, HTC One may be part of the name.
Whatever it is named Sprint and HTC are inviting the media to an event in New York City on April 4 where they will show their "latest collaboration." Sprint CEO Dan Hesse and HTC President Jason Mackenzie will be the hosts.
The specs for the HTC One J/S are very much like the HTC One X that include dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 processor, 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 SLCD touchscreen, 1GB RAM, NFC, Gorilla Glass 2, LTE connections, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. It is expected to run android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It could be the first LTE HTC smartphone on the Sprint network.
Some suggest that the AT&T exclusive deal will end in June when this new HTC smartphone is launched by Sprint in June.
