Virgin Mobile announced the Venture for $99.99 under the unlimited data plan for $35 a month. The Venture ventures into the affordable and cheap deal type of Android smartphone with a Blackberry-look arena.
Developed by Personal Communications Devices and Alcatel One Touch, the Venture has a QWERTY keyboard for texting, email messaging and Facebook updates.
The Venture comes with Android 2.3 [Gingerbread], a 2.8-inch touchscreen, 600MHz processor, and a 2MP camera with LED flash and video capture; and Bluetooth 3.0. Virgin mobile customers has access to Virgin Mobile Live, the 24/7 streaming music place to be with live performances and interviews by DJ Abbey Braden and the latest news about Virgin Mobile.
Additional specs include 2GB microSD installed, expandable to 32GB, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooh.
This new smartphone will be available on March 15.
