Sprint just released the ZTE Fury for just $19.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a contract or one penny from Amazon Wireless.
The ZTE Fury is being marketed to busy parents with children who wan to be able to keep track and monitor their kids. Many parents become furious when they find out what the kids are doing with their smartphones. Sprint offers parental and driving controls to help ease parents' minds and alleviate worries.
The ZTE Fury features 3.5-inch touchscreen, 5 MP camera with LED flash, 3G hotspots, 1GHz processor, microSD slot, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and 1500mAh battery.
The ZTE Fury is compatible with Sprint’s family services that give parents the tools to encourage good habits and responsible phone use. Sprint claims that family-ready devices like ZTE Fury give parents piece of mind with easy-to-load apps, such as:
- Sprint Family Locator: Allows parents to locate their kids on an interactive map and to set up “safety checks” to make sure they get to school on time. ($5 per month to locate up to four phones.)
- Sprint Mobile Controls: The app gives parents the ability to lock their child’s phone on-demand or to schedule locks and look at texts
- Sprint Drive First: An app from Sprint that automatically locks the phone when traveling more than 10 MPH and unlocks when the car has stopped driving.
ZTE Fury also comes preloaded with Sprint ID.
