Asus announced some ground breaking phones and tablets earlier this year. It appears we are getting closer to knowing the prices and release dates in the United States. There is an Asus "Experience the Infinity" event at Milan Design Week, this week were new Asus products are being showcased.
The Asus Padfone, Asus Transformer Pad Infinity (TF700T) and the Asus Transformer Pad 300 have all been priced in Italy at the show. We should expect similar prices around the globe.
In Italy, The Asus Transformer Pad 300 Wi-Fi only model will sell for €399 , about $524 and the 3G/Wi-Fi model will sell for €499, about $655. Both models have 32GB of storage. The Transformer Pad 300 will arrive on the market in mid-May. Asus began promoting the Transformer Pad TF300T, recently.
The 32GB Asus Padfone along with the tablet docks to is priced at €699 ($917 US) and will have release date in Italy at the end of May. The additonal keyboard docf or the Padfone will be sold separately for €149. The Padfone should be in stores at the end of May. An LTE-capable version of the Padfone could be out by September.
The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity (TF700T) 64GB will cost €599 ($786) for the tablet only and will be out on June 10 in Italy. It will be 4G LTE ready and the dock will be optional. For details of the PadFone see separate article on the PadFone.
