Asus has started promoting the new Tansformer Pad 300 on Twitter, YouTube and at Design Week in Milan. The new budget priced tablet that transforms into a netbook is expected to go on sale soon.
Asus Tweeted "The Asus Transformer Pad TF300 hits stores soon. Will you be one of the first to pick one up?"
While the YouTube video description states: "Part entertainment hub, part deadline destroyer, the New ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T is designed to transform the way you work, play and live. Embrace your creative and productive sides. Coming soon." The new video follows.
The Transformer PAD 300 is also being shown at design week in Milan.
We called Asus and sent an email to their PR department to try to get the offical word it the Asus. Current unsubstantiated rumors suggest a release date this Sunday April 22.
Asus claims that the Transformer Pad 300 is designed for everyone on a budget. It features a 1o" touchscreen 8MP camer and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The tablet transforms into a netbook with the docking keyboard with extended battery life.It comes multiple Colors Choices Blue, White and Red. The Asus Transform Pad 300 also features a NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad-core CPU with ASUS SonicMaster sound technology.
The price has not been confirmed, we doubt if it will be beat the HP TouchPad firesale. Asus is also rumored to be making the next Google Nexus Tablet that could be released as announced at Google IO in June and be made by mutiple vendors.
