The HTC EVO 4G LTE has met with FCC approval showing all the announced the specs.
The HTC EVO 4G LTE is set to go on presale on May 7, this approval offers a good window for Sprint to get ready for the release. It follows the release of the LG Viper and most likely the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4G LTE.
This new EVO offers features to make it sound better including enhanced Beats Audio and HD voice.
HTC EVO 4G features include 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, integrated with HTC Sense 4, 4.7-inch HD touchscreen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2000mAh battery, 16GB storage onboard, 8MP camera, front-facing camera, mobile hotspots, Wi-Fi and a kickstand inside the aluminum/plastic case.
So far, when the other carriers Verizon and AT&T launched their new 4G LTE networks there were glitches, getting everything working properly, if you are in a new 4G LTE area, please be forewarned that early adopters may experience some glitches.
The HTC EVO 4G LTE sells for $199.99 after a rebate with a contract. Available in the second quarter an exact release date will be announced later.
Sprint 4G LTE markets of Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City and San Antonio are expected to have 4G LTE and enhanced 3G service in mid-year 2011.
