Is the Smartphone Beta Test Over?

The latest ads say that the smartphone beta test is over then extol the virtues of  the Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 900 that went on sale today from AT&T.

Anyone who has owned a smartphone was a secret tester in the greatest experiment ever, living with lousy pictures and frustration, says Chris Parnell in the latest commercial.

There is a cute commercial where one teenage girl asks her friend "How's Carl?" and makes her friend cry because she hasn't seen the latest social status update on her phone.

The ads are using some compelling copy such as "The Amazing Everyday."

The Nokia Lumia 900 is priced at $99.99 and accesses AT&T's LTE network. We will be reviewing the award winning Nokia Lumia 900 soon and see if gets into the best smartphones for the second quarter of this year.

We will also explore smartphones and if there should be more beta testing of features.
