Droid RAZR Colorful Best Deals 4 Mom B/4 ICS Update - Red Dead?

Verizon Wireless has been heavily promoting the Droid RAZR with special deals for Mother's Day and now it offering its top-best-seller in blue, online only with a deep discount before the launch of its next Droid smartphone.

The Droid RAZR appears in Wireless and Mobile News' top best Android an' Droid smartphones now and later which a new competitor on the horizon the Droid Incredible 4G LTE that will come loaded with Android 4.0 ICS while the Droid RAZR may be updated to Android 4.0 ICS,  possibly on May 21.

We checked at the Verizon website to see what colors were available and the red and purple Droid RAZRs were gone. The Droid RAZR is only available in black, white and blue for the $99.99 Mother's Day promotion after a $50 mail-in rebate from Verizon Wireless online.

Online retailer Amazon Wireless discounted the Droid RAZR 16GB down to one cent for new customers and $99.99 for renewing contracts but only carry it in white, black or purple.  Verizon still has the double data deal for all LTE smartphones.

The red Droid RAZR was announced for Valentine's Day, why then does Mom get blue, maybe because her kids haven't bought her an Android phone, yet.

Meanwhile Verizon Wireless employees are getting their orders of the “Limited Edition” red DROID RAZR MAXX which has a red hounds tooth back and super powerful battery.

The commercial airing shows Mom wake up crying along with her daughter in a Verizon store with the only hope of making her happy for her to video chat with her daughter. I don't know about your mother, but my mother never cried in a phone store, but she did cry at weddings and graduations. On the other video the Korean, Cantonese and Mandarin dad in is made to look silly too.
