Review of Samsung Galaxy S III News:1st Quad-Core, 4.04 ICS & 5/10 Release Date?

Samsung Galaxy S III Next?Thursday, May 3, we will finally know all the details about the Samsung Galaxy S III, maybe as soon as 7:00PM in the U.K. which is as early as 11:00AM EST or 2:00PM PST.

Until then, there have bee image and spec leaks about the next galaxy from Samsung.  The delay could have been for many reasons while many will admit waiting for a quad-core processor and Android 4.04 is worthwhile.

Someone looked underneath some code the word retina was found leading some to speculate that Samsung Galaxy S III would have a retina display. However, previous leaks including  a manual all show a Super AMOLED touchscreen.

More importantly, the processor should be more efficient and less of a battery hog. Battery life has been a big problem with smartphones, especially 4G LTE models.

On April 26, Samsung introduced a new quad-core processor, the energy-efficient Exynos 4 Quad that allows system-level architects to integrate maximized power efficiencies into smartphones and tablets which enables double the processing power at a 20 percent lower power bill over its predecessor, the 45nm process based Exynos 4 Dual.

The Exynos 4 Quad is scheduled to be first-adopted into Samsung’s next Galaxy smartphone that will officially be announced in May, reported Samsung.

The latest rumors suggest a screen size at 4.8" on the Samsung Galaxy S III  which also showed up in a leaked manual with an HD resolution.  Some are saying that there will be more than one Samsung Galaxy S III model with different screen sizes and processors. The other model has the model number GT-i9800.

A newly found photo showed Model number GT-I9300 with Android 4.04 and the word that it will be available just one week after May 3.  Another source showed an 8MP camera.  Most likely the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S III will also include Wi-Fi, microSD slot, Bluetooth and some kind of Samsung media -integration.

Rumors also suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be available from Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.

We won't know what rumors are true until the unpacked event in London, until then the Samsung Galaxy S III is not yet unpacked from its secret suitcase.
