Nokia Lumia 900 Review of News: Update, Sophisticate, Decent & Rises But No SG S3 or HTC EVO 4Grule

Microsoft and Nokia had high hopes and high marketing budgets for the Nokia Lumia 900.  Just how well or badly is the smartphone that claims that the beta test is over?  The Nokia Lumia  900 is showing signs of decent sales, integration with MS Office and creative color interpretations.

IDC estimated that 2.2 Nokia Lumia 900 smartphones were shipped to stores in the first quarter. Scott Anderson VP of Best Buy mobile said that the Lumia 900 is a very decent seller but hadn't sold nearly as well as android phones such as the HTC EVO 4G LTE or Samsung Galaxy S3.

The Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T is receiving an update via the Zune software that removes purple hue which affected the screen of some devices in low light conditions, improves sensitivity for the proximity sensor and other minor adjustments.

Nokia announced that Woodcraft Rangers, a Los Angeles-based non-profit providing after school programs, has chosen the Lumia 900 to support its field operations.   Reasons given for the choice were that its easier to find the bright cyan blue in a car or purse, easy document review, access to the time card app and Microsoft Office integration.

Nokia cites color psychologist Angela Wright on what the color of your Nokia Lumia 900 means. Cyan user is the thinkers. Fuchsia is that angry lady, “It’s a very strong statement on the aggressive side of femininity." Black is the protector.  White is sophisticate for a more "refined feel."

In the U.K.,  there will be a Nokia Lumia 900 "The Dark Knight Rises" again limited edition Bat Windows Phone in black that will come with free "The Dark Night Rises" movie tickets with every purchase.
