is offering a $40 Verizon bill credit with purchase of any Verizon 4G LTE smartphone  until June 14 while Verizon Wireless,  is offering $100 off an Motorola 4G LTE smartphone, these could be signs of inventory changes and new Droid releases.

The Droid Incredible 4G LTE was announced in early May but has not been released yet for some unknown reason which could or could not be tie ups and customs. New signs have appeared in Verizon stores that show the Droid Incredible 4G LTE(next to a student in graduation gown) which could mean a release date soon. Some rumors suggested a June 21 when 5 more metros will be added to LTE flock.

The Droid Incredible 4G LTE will be competing with the Samsung Galaxy S3 which has a larger screen and $50 higher price tag.  The big stickler, however is when Verizon Wireless stop allowing smart phone upgrades with unlimited data access to keep their unlimited plans.  So far, we know that Verizon is allowing preorders of the Samsung Galaxy S3 current customers with an allowable upgrade to keep their unlimited data.  Verizon announced earlier that when it switches to shared data plans,  the only way to keep your unlimited data plan, then, will be by paying full retail price for the smartphone.

Coming out later in the Droid line will be the Droid RAZR HD/Fighter with a larger 4.6" HD screen, Kevlar backing, possible 13MB camera and powerful 3300mAh battery, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, HDMI/USB ports, Android 4.03 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) and high benchmark tests.  Benchmark tests were double that of Droid RAZR/MAXX closer to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X.

It gets harder and harder to make buying decisions unless you have all the information available before you decide to sign another two-year contract.
