Free Cell Phones for Low-Income, Soldiers & Military Families/Veterans Free Minutes & How 2 Honor Them
In honor of the Fourth of July weekend we would like to honor our military and veterans by showing how you can support them and how they can get free cell phones as well as calling time minutes. Low-income families of military personnel may also quality for free cell phones.
Some veterans who are batting the job market to get back to work may qualify for free low-income subsidized cell phones from Assurance Wireless.
Those who are not in the military who want to help can send used cell phones to Cell Phones for Soldiers, a non-profit organization that provides pre-paid calling cards and free phone services to deployed and returning military members.
Kyocera-has donated almost 14,000 minutes of free calling minutes for the troops before Independence Day. Hard Rock Cafés in Las Vegas in July are holding a cell phone drives for soldiers.
