Samsung Galaxy Note News: Noted for Fashion, Enterprise, T-Mobile & Models

Galaxy NoteThe Samsung Galaxy Note that phabulous phablet will be released sometime soon by T-Mobile and has been gaining momentum for its high-fashion and graphic use.

T-Mobile announced that they will be offering the Samsung Galaxy Note but did not set a release date, for the "coming weeks."

The good news which may be the reason for the delay is that it will launch with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich along with the premium suite for the Galaxy Note with extra apps including S Pen, S Note and Polaris Office.

With S Memo, Galaxy Note users have one-touch access to creating a typewritten, handwritten or voice dictated memo; researching information during creation; and adding an image. An added features is that is SAFE (Samsung Approved for Enterprise.

Wi-Fi calling will be available on the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note.  Wi-Fi calling does voice minutes but is very handy indoors where there may not be a strong voice signal.

A feature that is seldom highlighted is the handwriting recognition, using the S Pen the Samsung Galaxy Note changes the handwriting into text or e-mail or notes.  We have contacted Samsung PR rep and will be testing out the handwriting function by actually writing an article for WiMo News on a Note.

In the meantime the fashion industry has been finding great uses for the  Samsung Galaxy Note, super model Aline Weber, used her phablet for music, photos, note taking, phone calls and doodling. She found it inspiring.

Fashion editors during the ArtPoint’s Paris is Burning annual Bastille Day gala in Texas were demoed the Note as the "ultimate fashion tool."

Th fashion aspects include the ability to make collages from photographs, the stylus for notes and stylish colorful pen colors and brush strokes.

A fashion stylist noted that she could use the note to take photos and create drawings/collages to send  directly to clients.  Lorraine Sanders at  SFGate thought that the Note would require a learning curve and is not as easy as the iPhone.  The big 5.3 "screen doesn't fit in a pocket but is so much easier to read.

Samsung will be having a launch event on August 15 and has not stated what new device will be launched. Some think will be a new Samsung Galaxy Note and some think it will be a Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 tablet.  Whatever is launched, it be done with fashonable aplomb and style like previous Samsung events
