Olympic games made a lot of revenue for Android 🙂
Great article and apps. Thanks. This probably took a long to time to write. Excellent research and great links. You must really know what you are doing.
I tried to find video of parts of the opening ceremonies that I missed. It looks like the Olympic Committee locked up all the video. Someone posted it on YouTube and it was immediately removed. So last night I was stucck watching BMW commercials waiting for Sir Paul.
My daughter is on a swim team and she and her friends were all gathered around an Olympics app. I told her to dry off first.
Thank you for covering the BlackBerry too, Sometimes I feel left out.
Do these apps work on a SG S2 too?
I had to sign up for cable to view the streaming videos. I'm not sure if it was worth it or not.
I think sometimes it's just easier to watch TV. I can't stand the poetic commercials that go on 4ever.
Icouldn't download the BBC Android app. Maybe its because I'm in the US. I can view the website, but not the videos :(.
I think it's more fun to play the 3-D games than watch events that have already taken place. There is even a chance that I might win.
The games themselves are better viewed on a big screen. Playing the mobile games at least gives this couch potato a chance of winning, as long as I wear my glasses.
I think the Olympics are over-hyped. How are we geeks every going to conquer the world, when the atheletes are faster and stronger?
I like the Olympics apps because the ads are smaller. I find it really interesting that the products that sponsor the Olympics are things the athletes would probably never use for example BMW, they probably don't drink Coca-Cola and their Visa cards are are probably maxed out.
I don't know how an athlete would find the time to twet after swimming, running or pole vaulting. But they deserve the Samsung Galaxy S III, so that they can sell it on eBay when they get back home and afford to eat something good.
WOW just what I was looking for. Came here by searching for 2012
