HTC has updated the HTC Sensation, HTC Rezound, HTC EVO Design 4G and EVO 3D to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, those who own theVerizon HTC ThunderBolt and Droid Incredible 2 are still waiting but not for long. HTC in Facebook discussion confirmed that is planning to finish off the updates by the end of August.
HTC plans to complete the Android 4.0 ICS updates by the end of August for announced models. The HTC Rezound update started on August 2. You can manually download the upgrade by going to settings , tapping software update, and then selecting “check new” to download.
HTC listed the Droid Incredible 2 as getting an update, therefore it should be getting an update by the end of the month because HTC is planning to finish by the end of August. Hopefully Verizon will follow through with HTC's promise.
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich adds some features such as Android Beam, Face Unlock, a new UI, voice-to-text and improved camera (see all features and video). The update also includes an upgrade of HTC Sense to 3.6.
HTC support reportedly stated that the update for the HTC Desire S will be provided as a developer package that will be shared by the htc dev. portal(site). Each user will be able to download the update starting from 20th Aug 2012. After using this update the customer will loose the phone warranty.
HTC previously warned:
“Because of partner and network testing, and approval processes for device updates, it can take up to 45 days for all carriers and countries to get the update after a rollout has begun. If your phone has not received the update after the 45-day period, navigate to Settings>About>Software Updates to have your device manually check for updates. In general, devices with 512MB ROM or less will not be upgraded to Android 4.0.”
Facebook Post:
HTC has listed the Incredible 2 for getting the ICS upgrade several times. It was just marked as "TBD August 2012" on their list but they have recently confirmed it will be coming out on their FB page.
I looked for the Facebook comment. I couldn't find it regarding the Droid Incredible 2. If you find the link please post it. Especially the exact wording of the Facebook post.

It's literally at the top of the list.
Thank You. I have changed the post to reflect your comment.
I'm a little bewildered as to why there hasnt been a single leak or peep of ICS for the Thunderbolt, HTC apparently has something up their sleeve, i mean yeah the Thunderbolt was the original 4g htc device for Verizon, but the Rezound and nearly every other phone had a leak of an update months before the release. Kind of makes me wonder if my girlfriends Tbolt is going to be more awesome than my rooted, rommed, flashed, and tickled Rezound when the update drops. Doubt it, but its a little odd that its been such a journey and process for Tbolt users, i was about to pull my hair out with it until i dropped the thing in water, destroying it, forcing me to pick up the Rezound from a buddy.
Thanks.
HTC has been announcing updates for the DINC 2 since last February. I will believe it when I see it - which will probably be after my upgrade is available next March.
