Moto Photon Q Queued for Presale Release Date 8/19: Best DealThe Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE will go on sale on August 19, and is currently on presale.  The list price from Sprint is $199.99 and its main unique feature is that is has a slide out QWERTY keyboard.

Those who preorder it will have it two-days early, Sprint reported.

Features of the Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE are a 4.3" ColorBoost touchscreen, 8MP camera, front-facing camera, Smartactions, HDMI mirror mode, NFC, WiFi, business security, and microSD slot 8GB storage, 4G LTE data, 1GB RAM and 1.5GHz dual-core processor running Android 4.04 Ice Cream Sandwich.  It resembles the Droid 4 closely except that it ships with Android 4.04.

Motorola notes that you can use Netflix to view movies on an HDTV with the external media dock that has ESP to remember your settings.

The "Q" stand for QWERTY keyboard that has laser-cut keys, dedicated number row and LED lights.

    It seems like no one is making smart phones with keyboards anymore. Writing on touchscreens is no fun, especially if you want to text a lot.

    Motorola seems kind of slow, they are owned by Google they should get things out faster.
