I really like sending donations via text messages because it feels like I'm giving something immediately to help people in need. It's also less work than filling in a credit card form and my name for web donations. Texting money to me feels like instant help. I donated money after reading this post.
The Red Cross does an excellent job of helping people in disaster areas. This hurricane has been better than Katrina, but we still need help. Please give as much as you can.
I wish there was a way that you could select the exact amount of the donation you want to send. For young people such as teenagers they may not be able to afford spending $25 while $10 could be in the budget.
