iPhone 5 Line Waiting Tips & Tricks 4 Target, Walmart RadioShack & More

As we get closer to first day of sale of the new iPhone 5, we have some information to help you be one the first to get the new iPhone 5(if you haven’t already preordered one). Lines have already started forming at Apple stores in major metropolitan areas.

We have confirmed that carrier lines(AT&T, Sprint & Verizon) are usually shorter than Apple Store lines.  The iPhone 5 goes on sale at 8:00 am September 21.  It will also be sold at BestBuy,  Target, RadioShack and some Walmart stores.

Apple offers a store locator webtool with search by zip code.  Calling your local carrier's store will help you figure out if there is stock left.  We find it interesting that Apple abandoned Google Maps in iOS 6 but continues to offer Google Maps on its website.

If you currently have a relationship with a sales rep at any retailer, ask him or her the best way to obtain an iPhone 5. Also be prepared with your credit card information, cell phone number and any other details you  may need in store.

We have also noticed that going to BestBuy store and RadioShack store one freeway exit away in  a less populated area, will have more stock and shorter lines.

Call your local Apple store first, before line waiting or on the first day of sale. Sometimes the reps know how many iPhones will be stock giving you a rough estimate of odds of nabbing the new iPad.  In the past in major metros, by noon, the stock of iPhones was depleted.

Also we want to remind to be very careful after you leave the store with your new iPhone 5  Pack the iPad into something that doesn’t label you an a buyer.  We would like to remind you that when the original iPad came out, there were many robberies.  In fact, one iPad buyer lost part of his finger when an iPad bag was ripped from his hand by a thief. There is very high rate of thefts of iPhones especially when they come
