Last week, Nokia and Microsoft announced the first Windows 8 smartphone including the Nokia Lumia 920. The media went gaga over the features for a cheap prices. However, in the latest commercial there was a flaw in the editing and actual Nokia Lumia 920 video footage was not used.
"In an effort to demonstrate the benefits of optical image stabilization (which eliminates blurry images and improves pictures shot in low light conditions), we produced a video that simulates what we will be able to deliver with (OIS)."
The Nokia Lumia 920 does have image stabilization as seen in the demo video below. The footage used in the commercial was an example of what the Nokia Lumia 920 can do. Nokia claims that it is the best camera you can find on a phone and you can take photos in lower light levels. The Nokia ethics committee is looking into the matter.
Features of the Nokia Lumia 920 include 4.5" touchscreen, 2000mAh battery, Nokia Maps, GPS, wireless charging, Microsoft SkyDrive, free Nokia Streaming music service, dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM and 32GB of storage.
The text below the video states "this one is DEMONSTRATION of the real OIS technology, it is not a commercial. The so-called "fake" ad was a COMMERCIAL. and as we know, there does not exist a single mobile phone company who would create a commercial used by a mobile phone. They ALL are fakes, including Apple and Samsung ads."
