The Skinny on the World's Thinnest Smartphone - iPhone 5, Droid RAZR Not! 6.68 in Pink Best
Whoops! The great Apple God already made a mistake. Yes the iPhone 5 is thinner than the iPhone 4S, but not thinner than every smartphone on the planet.
We find it interesting that they measured it in millimeters because most Americans don't have a concept of what millimeters are. We're used to inches. However it appears that Apple is so iEgotistical that it didn't check any of the competitors including Motorola and Huawei.
The iPhone 5 news release stated, "iPhone 5 is the thinnest smartphone in the world."
According Strategy Analytics there are at least three smart phones that are thinner than the iPhone at 7.6mm and they are the 7.1mm thick, the Motorola RAZR XT909, Motorola Droid RAZR and Motorola RAZR XT910.
However the world's skinniest, slimmest, thinnest smartphone is in fact The Huawei Ascend P1 S was unveiled at t CES in January and measures 6.68mm with HSPA+ connection. Not only that it is more colorful than the iPhone 5 and comes in cherry blossom pink, white and black.him
The problem is that if you what more battery life, you need a bigger battery which makes the smartphone wider.

You are forgetting the camera hump, which according to Engadget make the actual thickness "roughly 10.5mm" for both the Huawei Ascend P1 and the Droid RAZR The iPhone 5 is 7.6mm where it is thickest.

If you measure a device by its thickest point, then the Moto Razr doesnt come close. Look at the top of the device where the camera is.
The iphone is 7.6mm top to bottom. The Razr is 10.6 mm at its tickest point. It is dishonest to call Razr thinner if it has parts that are 10mm thick.

Well what do you know, RAZR and Huawei measurements where inaccurate. It's kind of like measuring you waistline, you go to the thinnest part and forget about the hips.
