Sprint is offering the Samsung M400 with accessibility features designed specifically to meet the needs of senior citizens and people with disabilities.
The M400 is also being touted a a great phone for aging baby boomers, grandmas and people who just want an easy to use clam shell phone with big buttons and dedicated 911/emergency/speakerphone keys.
Features designed to make Samsung M400 easy to use include voice dialing and Nuance VSuite version 4.0 text-to-speech client that reads menus, submenus, text, dialed numbers, caller ID and missed calls to the user.
It has a 2.4" color internal display and 1.07" external display to show incoming calls and notifications.
Samsung M400 can be used with Sprint Family Locator, which allows family or trusted caregivers to locate loved ones using GPS technology to locate a phone and display its location on an interactive map.
Samsung M400 is available free with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement, after a $50 mail-in rebate via reward card.
