LG and T-Mobile recently announced the LG Optimus L9 designed with metallic accents and thin shape priced at $89.99 after a $50 rebate with a contract. This is not to confused with the LG Optimus G (Sprint and AT&T) which is a full-featured top-of-the-line super smartphone similar to the Nexus 4 ($ 99 unlocked) and a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S III ($279 list $179 @ Wirefly).
The LG Optimus L9 is being called a mid-range Android smartphone and ideal for those who need a speedy processor. The LG Optimus L9 goes on sale October 31. The voice-activated camera lets you snap a shot by saying the word 'cheese," for voice shutter.
LG Optimus L9 features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and a gorgeous 4.5-inch qHD Corning Gorilla Glass 2, 2,150 mAh battery, mobile hotspots, Wi-Fi calling, 5MP camera(with voice shutter/shot mode), 1GHz dual-core processor, DLNA SmartShare, Wi-Fi and Bluetooh.
LG Optimus L9 also features LG QuickMemo for note-taking with commentary, notes and drawings to screenshots with a few swipes of a finger. LG Optimus L9 offers 1080p HD video recording.
