What's bigger than a Droid RAZR HD but smaller than the iPad? The LG Intuition.
The LG Intuition was released on Verizon Wireless in September and is considered a phablet while the Droid RAZR HD is more of large smartphone. Since we have not heard, yet if Verizon will offer the LG Optimus G, the LG Intuition may be the only LG phablet, unless of course Verizon released the Nexus 4.
The LG Intuition features a 5" touchscreen with a 4:3 ratio designed for reading books and watching videos.
Like the LG Optimus G, the LG Intuition offers the QuickMemo app for screen capturs and or writing with the Rubberdum pen or finger. another app included is the LG Tag+ is app and two programmable NFC stickers. Using the stickers the LG Intuition owner can program it to switch modes with a single tap.
The Notebook app turns the Intuition into a virtual notepad for creating documents which, can include text, drawings, images, annotations, video and voice clips These software features differentiate the LG Intuition from the Droid RAZR HD and make it more like the Samsung Galaxy Note.
Specs include 8MP camera, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, mobile hotspots, enterprise security, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and SmartShare to DLNA devices.
When it was introduced the LG Intuition was being sold for $199.99, Amazon Wireless has reduced the price to $149.99 for new accounts and upgrades. The Samsung Galaxy Note is currently not offered from Verizon Wireless, however the Samsung Galaxy Note II is expected to be released in time for the holidays, we will be running phabulous phablet comparisons.
I'm a Droid fan and will stick with Droid RAZR HD for now, but the Nexus 4 is interesting.
I like the Samsung Galaxy Note apps better.
