Samsung announced that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be update with Samsung Premium Suite. The AT&T Samsung Galaxy S III is getting the Jelly Bean 4.1 update currently.
New features shown in a new video include Multi Window, Reader Mode, Page Buddy ad Contextual Menus and tags.
The Samsung Galaxy S III has been showing up as the one of the best smartphones of 2012, by Consumer Reports, DT and according to the latest sales figures.
New features of the update include:
- Multi Window: You can open two different apps at the same time into two different windows.
- Auto Share Shot Pairing using NFC: lets you share your photos and videos by tapping t other NFC and S-Beam enabled devices
- Reader Mode: adjust browser text sizes and click to share it.
- Facebook Lock Ticker: shows Facebook feed on your lock screen.
- Page Buddy: Your phone will smartly predict what you intend to do according to your actions. For example, when you plug in your earphones, the device automatically opens up a page with the music player.
- Contextual Menu: When you list up apps, you can now choose to see the most frequently used ones first.
- Contextual Tag: When you take a picture on the phone, you can tag the weather, date, and place
We probably won't see the update in the U.S. until early spring. Kudos to Samsung for continually updating its products.
Samsung has successfully claimed its share of the spotlight in terms of smartphone battle. Samsung Galaxy Note II was sensational! If Samsung Galaxy SIII got some of its best features, this will be another flagship handset that the company can really be proud of!
