Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II owners are receiving a minor update that fixes the Exynos security vulnerability.
The update, SW VersionBaseband version: I605VRALL4 Build Number: JRO03C.I605VRALL4, is an"Android Security Patch added for additional security."
It's always a good idea to backup up your data before performing any update.
A software update requires at least 40% battery level if not connected to an external power source and 20% or more if connected. When roaming outside the Verizon Wireless coverage area, a system update notice will not be received. To receive the system update over a Wi-Fi network.
If prompted with an update, tap install now. Then the device will restart and install the update.
Recently, the Samsung Ruby Pro was updated to Jelly Bean. AT&T released the Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S III over-the-air. A video shows the process which is very similar for the Samsung Galaxy Note II.
The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II also was updated to last week.

- Wait as your phone restarts and updates.
