Kindle Fire Phone to beat Nexus 4 @ Fire Sale Price?

The Kindle Fire may not be fastest tablet but it offers enough power and services for the whole family to love. Amazon reportedly has some great deals in the works including entering in the unsubsidized smartphone market at a rock bottom cheap price to compete with the Nexus 4 maybe sometime in the summer.

Since the T-Mobile announcement that T-Mobile will not longer subsidized smartphones, it leaves a market to filled by other subsidies such as being cash register for Amazon sales of books, digital media and other products.

Some believe the phone will use an Amazon UI over Android like the Kindle Fire/HD and could cost between $100 and $249. Since most smartphones cost around $200 to produce with strong quad-core processors, we don't suspect a price lower than $200.  The current best price for an unlocked high-powered smartphone is the well-reviewed Nexus 4 for T-Mobile use.

Some contend that homescreen advertising will bring down the price of the phone.

Other suspected specs include Kid-friendly services such as FreeTime and Amazon Prime movies.

Last June, suppliers were testing components for the Kindle Phone.  Kindle devices historically, however have been released around Black Friday in time for the Holidays.  Kindle devices also are immune from being panned by tech reviewers because a core of Amazon users reviewer are very kind when they review Kindle products.  In fact Amazon reviews of Kindle products receive higher ranking

Early this month, Kindle Fire fans were excited about a rumor that the Kindle Fire 7" model would be coming out at the amazingly low price of $99.  However the rumor was refutted, an Amazon spokesman told CNET "saying that a $99 HD Kindle Fire is "not happening -- we are already at the lowest price points possible for that hardware."

The Kindle Fire HD received decent reviews and already sells for about the cost to manke it.  The Kindle Fire HD 8.9 receieved good review for a family centric device as the price was reduced by $30, recently. It is not as fast as the  best-reviewed Android tablet the Nexus 10 or iPad.
