Processor Processes
Rumors suggest that American customers will not get the Exynos 5 1.6 GHz Opta core processor but 1.9 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. The alleged reason is that the Qualcomm chip supports US networks. Samsung confirmed that Exynos 5 will go into production between April and June.

Software Isn't 4 the SG4 Only?
We've got hand it to one of our readers who asked, yesterday "Will the Samsung Galaxy SIII and Note II get all the new fancy software features of the Samsung Galaxy S4? Since most of the new features are software related and many have at least another year to go on their contracts....You'll be happy know that Samsung plans to bring some of the features of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 to the Samsung Galaxy S III and Note 2.
Sascha Segan spoke to Nick DiCarlo at the unveiling event who said that "many of the improvements in the Samsung Galaxy S4 could make their way into existing Samsung Galaxy S3 phones.
"Anything that we can do that's not dependent on hardware like infrared, we'll definitely bring to all the flagship devices," he said. Others interpreted the quote to mean that Samsung may bring the features to the Note II, too.
Software features that may come to the Samsung Galaxy S III and Note 2 are:
- S Health monitoring.
- Samsung Smart Pause.
- Sound/Drama Shot.
- Home Sync.
- Dual Video Call.
- S Translate.
- Swiftkey keyboard.
HTC Embarassed by Samsung S4 Event
HTC, president Jason MacKensie told CNET that he laughed and felt embarrassed at some of the acting. He thought Samsung invested a lot in marketing instead of innovation. We'd like to know if MacKensie could tap dance like Jeremy.
Meanwhile, HTC reps were on hand outside Samsung’s event promoting the HTC One.
Samsung accessories Scaled
We missed a few accessories for the newest next big thing. Seen at the launch event were a wireless charging pad, a weight scale that works with S Health to keep track of the weight you gain or lose. In order to use wireless charging you need a wireless charging pad and cover according to the photo posted at the Samsung Galaxy S 4 website.
We found the description of the body scale very interesting, it "measures weight and sends it to the Samsung Galaxy S 4 via Bluetooth and supports up to seven users."
Join the Health Bandwagon with the S Band & HRM
